How to find Wadi Rum the Bedouin Desert ?

After passing the Visitor Center on your way to Wadi Rum where you’ll have your Jordan Pass stamped or pay the 5 JOD entrance fees, we will host you in Wadi Rum village next to the Rest house which is our meeting point. You can easily find Wadi Rum Rest House on your GPS. We will then guide you to our own Visitor office.

Is there a parking available ?

Yes, you can easily and safely park your car at our visitor office.

Where can we let our luggage?

If you need, we do have a luggage room available where your belongings can be stored safely during your trip.

Are there restaurants and shops in Wadi Rum Village ?

Yes, snacks and drinks are available at Wadi Rum Rest House.You also have many small shops selling foods, drinks, hygienes products, etc.

Can we find an ATM in Wadi Rum ?

The unique ATM you will find is at the Visitor Center. It is unfortunately often out of order and we highly recommend you to come to Wadi Rum with enough cash.

Can we pay using our credit card in Wadi Rum ?

Shops and camps are not equiped to support payment by card. Only cash is used in Wadi Rum.

What’s the best period to enjoy Wadi Rum ?

You can enjoy the desert all over the year. You just need to know that from June to August the temperature can reach 45°C. From January to March nights can be very cold and the rain quite heavy.

How long is it recommended to stay in Wadi Rum ?

We highly recommend you to stay at least 2 days and 2 nights to fully immerse yourself and explore a maximum of areas.

What type of clothes for Wadi Rum ?

Up to you ! During hot season we highly recommend you to bring both solar cream and cap. For winter season, warm pants, jackets are a must-have.

Is Wadi Rum appropriate for kids ?

Yes, kids will definitely enjoy it ! Up to you to organise the most appropriate program. We are always flexible and happy to build it together.

Is Wadi Rum appropriate for people with reduced mobility ?

Jeep tours are absolutely appropriate for everyone. We can always discuss together and find a way for you to enjoy fully your stay in the desert.

Are the meals appropriate for vegetarians ?

Our meals can include meat but we can always adapt. Make sure to specify it when booking your trip.

Should we bring food and drinks for our trip in the desert ?

Meals, water and snacks are included in our daily programs. Feel free to bring what you like if you have specific food preferences.

Is it possible to spend night under the stars in winter ?

Yes, we do propose to sleep under the stars year-round. Warm blankets and fire-camp will protect you from the cold. Tents are also available during winter if you need.

Should we bring specific equipment for the night under the stars ?

Our camps are equipped with mattresses and warm blankets. Fell free to bring your own sleeping bag if you wish. Headlamp might also be very useful during the evening and night.

Do we have toilets and shower on the camps ?

No, you don’t have that in the middle of a desert ! No worries, there is hidden spots at every corner of the desert !

Should we bring toilet paper ?

We have it available for you but you can bring it with you. Plastic bags might also be useful for collecting the waste.

Should we be scared from insect on the camp ?

Our camps for nights are carefully selected from the team and are covered from wind, rain and cleaned to limit the presence of insects.

Do we have connection in the desert ?

Oh no, you don’t ! Connection is close to zero in the middle of the desert. From Wadi Rum Village you will still have connection and be able to communicate one last time with your loved ones before jumping in the back of the jeep !
